5 original IBM Model F transparent relegendable keycap tops from IBM 4704 F107 Model F Keyboards. Also included will be 5 compatible Unicomp stems.
All caps are brittle, yellowed, have some text markings, and some may have hairline cracks.
Important note: the pictured caps are not the exact ones you will receive as I have several extra sets available.
Note that these are not my key caps made from brand new molds, as part of the Brand New Model F Keyboards project.
I will not accept returns for any reason, including if you find the item available from me on the project web site ("Brand New Model F Keyboards") at a lower price (I am the only seller).
The reason for the higher price for this listing is to help cover the tens of thousands of dollars in project cost overruns for the Brand New Model F Keyboards project, which just passed $2 million in orders.
The stem will be provided in assorted colors, and the stem is new stock from Unicomp which works on both Model M and Model F keyboards - you can't pick the color.
The relegendable caps allowed banks to put in specific function keys before the days of the GUI for IBM mainframes and terminals.
This is the only place to get these IBM-style reproduction transparent caps, unless you buy an original 4704 keyboard that happens to have these caps (if you can find one!).
