Our water-based wood colors bring you a range of high-quality water-based wood stains that are easy to use, safe and environmentally friendly. Fast to apply (can be applied with a lint free rag,brush or foam pad). Fast to dry, after 1 hour second coat can be applied. Stain can be applied on new timber such as furniture, doors, skirting boards, architraves, mouldings and floor. For old stained timber it must be prepared before application i.e all stains, varnishes, paints must be stripped off using a suitable grade sand paper or a paint stripper.
These wood stains are water based which means they do not contain any toxic chemicals and are odorless. This also means that they are easy to use; quick drying and very easy to clean off your brush afterward!

Instructions; upturn bottle and shake well. Apply evenly along the grain using a good quality paintbrush or sponge (can be applied by spray gun). When dry, remove the excess stain with a damp sponge - this will also enhance the appearance by highlighting the detail. When dry, finish with a Wax Polish, lacquer or varnish (sold separately) available from our eBay Shop. We stock water based lacquers (satin, matt or gloss finishes) which are safe and environment friendly and non toxic.
CAUTIONS
Surface must be dry, clean, and free of dirt, grease, glue and any existing coatings before applying water-based stains. Apply stain with a synthetic bristle brush, foam brush, staining pad or a rag can be used (these can be purchased separately from eBay shop). The stain is a ready-to-use Normally you don’t need to add anything to make it thinner. For lighter colour tone small proportion of water can be added. Ambient temperature and colored elements during work shall be between +5 to +25 degrees Celsius. Store the container in normal room temperature Avoid From Frost. Colour may vary depending on the type and species of wood. Always test stain on a scrap piece or hidden area of wood to verify desired color. Use only with adequate ventilation. To avoid overexposure, open windows and doors or use other means to ensure fresh air entry during application and drying. If you experience eye watering, headaches, or dizziness, increase fresh air, or wear respiratory protection, or leave the area. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Wash hands after using. Keep container closed when not in use. Do not transfer contents to other containers for storage.
COVERAGE: Approximately 10-15 m² from 1 liter depending on the surface.

Special note: All multiple orders will be dispatched together. Multiple same stain colour bottles maybe upgraded in a single larger bottle quantity for simplicity. Where there's a larger bottle available for multiple orders it will be sent instead of several smaller bottles (e.g. for an order of five one litre same colour stains a single container of 5L will be sent unless a customer has specified in a request message to do so). We may also send for a 5L order, 5X1L bottles to make it 5L; depending on stock available at time of order.
