This High Power Metal Speaker Selector Switch box from E-Audio is for use with six pairs of speakers. This selector switch box allows six pairs of speakers to be connected to the output of a stereo amplifier. The pairs of speakers can be selected individually or all together. The switch box has built-in impedance and overload protection. The protection feature can be manually selected to protect the amplifier when more than one pair of speakers is selected at any one time, i mpedance switching built into the unit ensures the minimum impedance seen by the amp is 4 Ohm (if using 8 Ohm speakers), no matter how many of the pairs of speakers are switched on. If the speaker switch box gets too hot because of power overload, the overload protection circuit will temporary disconnect the speaker if the box gets to hot and reconnect when the switch box cools down.
