The Story: As Sarah walks alone along the desolate beach she finds an unconscious man, who has been brought to land by the waves. When he awakens he doesn't remember anything, he has no name and no past. His dependence lies with Sarah, a role that makes her forget her loneliness. She says they are situated on an island, where no one can reach them. From now on, his life lies in her hands!

Comment: Told from a woman's point of view about men, sex and having a "fantasy man" as a captive in every sense of the word. The acting is superb...James Spader is very believable as an injured sailor rescued by a lonely artist who, unfortunately, is quite mad. Anne Brochet delivers a believable performance in this female version of The Collector.
