Up for sale is this Fine User 19th Century Ca. 1893 Scioto Works 16" Jack Plane Inv#BR104

This is marked on toe Scioto Works. The plane was made by The Ohio Tool Company. The heavy duty cutter is marked Ohio Tool Co Thistle Brand High Grade Steel, Auburn, NY USA and it measures 7-1/2" x 2-1/4". It has some pitting, dings, rust and could use sharpening. The plane has typical scars, hairlines behind cutter, nose & heel and dings, the tote has a nick at tip. The original wedge is in very nice shape.
