This listing is for one 8' length of our 1/2" ID - 3/4" OD Blast Media Siphon Hose. This media hose is the same fiber braid reinforced hose supplied with our Harbor Freight style blast cabinet metering valve upgrade kits.
Please note this hose is intended for supplying abrasive blast media within your blast cabinet setup. We do not recommend using this for supplying compressed air. Use a dedicated pneumatic air hose designed for that purpose.
This hose is durable and more flexible than the stuff you'll find locally.
Your purchase includes 8' of hose only and does not include any grommets, hose clamps etc.
Remember, blast media hose is a consumable item. Eventually it does wear out from the inside out and needs replacing. It never hurts to have extra hose on hand!
If you're using the stock triggered blast gun that came with a Harbor Freight or similar blast cabinet this hose is a tight fit. It WILL fit. The fitting on most of the triggered guns is usually a little larger than 1/2" and closer to 5/8". You just need to heat the end of the hose with a heat gun. Once softened, you can force the hose over the fitting. Another option is modifying the blast hose fitting on the stock gun. Heating the hose is much faster and easier.
Why not just use 5/8" ID blast hose? You can. We also sell 5/8" ID hose. Check our ebay listings. We prefer using 1/2" ID hose since it is less bulky and offers better flexibility and good performance. All of our metering valves and most aftermarket blast guns are set up for 1/2" ID blast hose.
