One of the first atlas's to employ the cerographic technique this important map of California and Mexico was published in 1845 although copyrighted 1842.

Published by Harper and Brother's the map  was published by Sidney E Morse.

Map overall in good condition.  Some wear and light water staining to boarder areas otherwise in nice condition.  No stamps or any other markings to the map with the excaption of handwritten in pencil the number 35 which corresponds to the map's page in the atlas.

Map measures approximately 14 x 19 inches including boarder area.  A nice copy with only above water damage to edges being the issue. Some other light dings here and there to edges. Will look great framed.  Note I have photographed the title page. It is not included with the sale as it is provided for authentication purposes although I will include a copy if requested.  Map came from a heavily worn atlas but, fortunately this map was toward the rear and mostly undamaged.

Please email with questions. A fantastic piece
