From Sweden´s, beautiful Rörstrand work, a rare ashtray glazed in purple and black,  designed by Vilhelm Bjerke Petersen. (G104) This 50s series was called Fasett.

The ashtray has an asymmetric shape,  atomic design, abstract designs.  Danish-Swedish artist Vilhelm Bjerke Petersen ( 1909-1957) studied under artists Paul Klee and Wassily Kandinsky at Bauhaus Dessau from 1930-1931..

Great vintage condition, no chips or cracks.
