A beautiful accordian style book with engraved wood cover depicting eight famous Chinese horses and thier owners from 207 B.C to 1137 A.D.
The book includes ten gorgeous hand painted watercolor illustrations on silk of the horses. Each horse is described in both Chinese and English text on adjoining page.
The book measures 8" by 5 3/4". It is complete. There is some tanning on the pages, and a couple of light tears inside the book from age.
A unique book for any one who loves horses and Chinese history.
