Boots 250 MD 35mm Film Compact Camera Vintage - partially working

The camera is in reasonable condition. The shutter and film wind on work. The lens is clean and scratch-free. However the viewfinder has had, what appears to have been, tape on it and it has slightly impaired the view through. 

Internally, the camera is very clean without any signs of wear, tear, damage or ageing.

There is some minor corrosion inside the battery compartment but that doesn't seem affect the functions. 

However, I cannot get the flash to work. The shutter mechanism works so it is possible that it will take a photograph. I have not run a film through so it is untested.

Dimensions: 11.5 x 6.5 x 4 cm (4 1/2 x 2 1/2 x 1 1/2 inch) approx.

Weight: 160 g approx.

Battery: 2 x AA.

It comes with a wrist strap and plastic case.
