Steam system
The first ever BABYLISS Curl Secret Shine auto curler features the breakthrough Hydrotherm™ moisturizing steam system. The steam penetrates the hair structure, moisturizes it and provides great shine and durability.
Auto curl
The device is also equipped with the innovative Auto Curl system that automatically curls the hair. The curling iron gently pulls your hair inside and after a few seconds it releases a beautiful, shiny curl.
Suitable for every hair type
The Curl Secret has three temperature settings, making it suitable for every hair type. 190°C for thin hair, 210°C for normal hair and 230°C for thick hair.
3 types of curls
Choose what curl you want. For a loose curl or a beachy wave, choose 8 seconds. You put in ten seconds for a 'normal' curl and 12 seconds for a small, compact curl.
Ceramic curl chamber
The inside of the curl chamber is ceramic. Ceramics provide a constant temperature, heat up quickly and protect your locks. This way every lock is perfectly curled in one go!
Natural curls
You get the most natural look if you choose the direction of rotation 'automatic'. Of course you can also let them all curl to the left or right. The ions that are released will ensure that your hair remains smooth, shiny and frizz-free.
Fast heating up
The curler also allows you to choose the heat-up time and one of 3 temperature settings. Thanks to this, you will get great curling results regardless of your hair type. An audible indicator signals when a curl is done, so you don't have to look at your watch while styling.
Standby mode
If the device is not used for more than 20 minutes, the temperature drops automatically to 150°C. Slide the knob back to '0' to select the desired temperature again.
Automatic shutdown
For extra safety: if this automatic curling iron is switched on for more than 60 minutes, it will automatically switch off.

Divide your hair into sections
Take a section of hair with a maximum width of 3 cm
Comb through this section
Choose the desired curl by choosing from the timer setting
Choose the temperature that suits your hair type: 190°C for thin hair, 210°C for normal hair, 230°C for thick hair
Always place the Curl Secret with the opening of the styling tool towards the head
Wait for the sound signal
Release the Curl Secret again
Wait for the hair to cool before working or combing through the curl
