This new NON VACUUM OPERATED tap will fit and replace the vacuum operated Taiyo Giken one on your classic...

* Kawasaki Zephyr 550 1992 to 1996

* Kawasaki Zephyr 1100 1992 to 1996

* Kawasaki ZR7 750cc 1999 to 2003

* Kawasaki ZR7S 750 cc 2001 to 2003

This is a brand new reproduced fuel tap and it has the following settings... ON, OFF and RESERVE.

It looks very much like the original apart from it does not have the vacuum part.

Note that this tap has the fuel outlet on the right hand side just like the original. It does not require the vacuum tube connection and this can be plugged.

The casting of my taps is superb and they are all checked for smooth operation before dispatch.

Please take a good look at the pictures of my taps and see if you can find better castings elsewhere!

Don't mess about trying to reseal your old original fuel tap. We've tried all that and it just doesn't last. They generally leak through the front or the vacuum side goes wrong and either stops fuel from flowing through the tap or it constantly supplies fuel which floods carburettors and fills crankcases up with petrol.

Replacement seal kits are expensive too.

Apart from that it's not worth wasting time even trying to fix them when you can buy something like this from us!

OK so this tap not original Kawasaki but it is a much cheaper alternative than trying to get an original one.

Our taps are as good as you are going to buy, we've searched high and low for a long time for taps for these bikes plus other classic bikes that are just right and these are the best!

We check each tap before dispatch for any casting errors and tightness of the tap.

To date, we have had no returns or issues with my supplier and manufacturer.

Fitting this will eradicate all the usual problems of old taps not working and fuel not flowing or leaking taps.

Technical specifications:

These taps are very well made with very good casting material and tolerances, they are not made from 'monkey metal' like lots of other cheap taps are. I've bought them!... and binned them!

Hole diameter is 6.5mm for your 6mm bolts

Connection to fuel line: 7mm internal diameter fuel pipe.

NOTE THAT THIS MAY BE SMALLER THAN THE PIPE CURRENTLY ON YOUR BIKE

We recommend that you renew your fuel pipe and we also sell very good quality clear heavy wall thickness and E5 and E10 resistant fuel pipe too

Our taps are obviously supplied with a tank seal too. We also sell replacement tank seals should you paint your tank or need to remove your tap for tank washing or cleaning.
