This scarce 1930s "White Seal" cardboard tobacco canister, measuring 5 1/2" x 5 1/2", is in very good condition with some age related paper discoloration and and small tears.  There is an almost complete tax stamp.  The interior lid very old list of the original owner's household expenses.  This very attractive faux wood beige canister features a graphic image of the "White Seal" trademark image.  The tobacco was manufactured by the Lowell & Buffington Tobacco Company (successor to the Penn Tobacco Company) Wilkes-Barre, PA in Factory 36, 12th District, PA.
