THIS IS A WONDERFUL ANTIQUE NORWEGIAN HAND MADE KLOSTERSOM WOOL EMBROIDERY TAPESTRY, WALL HANGING, THIS IS A FANTASTIC MUSEUM QUALITY KLOSTERSOM NORWEGIAN EMBROIDERY - IT IS A WALL HANGING OR TABLE RUNNER FROM NORWAY - GORGEOUS COLORS IN THIS DESIGN EXTRAVAGANZA!  THE ORIGINAL DESIGN IS FROM 1747 AND THIS DATE IS ON THE PIECE.  THE PIECE DEPICTS A BRIDAL COUPLE ON HORSEBACK ON THE WAY TO THE CHURCH.  TWO BIRDS FLY ABOVE.  THE BRIDE WEARS HER BRIDAL CROWN.  THE GROOM CARRIES THE SPINNING WHEEL DISTAFF THAT WAS GIVEN TO THE BRIDE.  THE ANTIQUE PIECE IS IN PERFECT CONDITION WITH NO FADING OR WEAR.  THE PIECE IS 41 INCHES BY 22 INCHES.  PLEASE SEE OUR OTHER ORIGINAL ANTIQUE NORWEGIAN FOLK ART ITEMS WE ARE SELLING.
