manufacture and shipping mistakes, it may be smaller or larger than your
crucible ( not perfectly fit with your crucible). Please don't buy if you mind.
2. You
could hammer it by yourself to correct the ring. Forge the tong's ring to red hot status, it will be more easier to hammer the ring.
3. Normally
for a 8 or 10 or 15 KG crucible in market, their diameter is around
6--7 in ( 150--170 mm), you can hammer the tong to fit with crucible.
Use safety goggles, mask as well as gloves while casting metals.
