..One of the very cool parts of owning a guitar shop and going to guitar shows is the treasures you find........ I chased this guitar for twenty years. The fellow that had it was a former major guitar manufacturer employee. He was a very high muckety muck in the company at one time. He told me that this mock up model guitar was created as a teaser to get a very famous tennis player to endorse it. The plan was to create a Tenniscaster and it was to be called the Johnny Mac model. The major guitar manufacturer considered it for a minute and then decided the money would be better spent making knockoffs in Asia.... The guitar itself is a short scale neck [22 1/4"- 22 3/8"] grafted to a Prince tennis racket. The electronics work although it seems the tone pot works in reverse. Will need setup work, this is why its listed as a project. It was intended to be a prototype and it was never made to be an everyday player. Could possibly be a very expensive wall hanger..... Possibly is the very rarest prototype ever to come out of this major guitar manufacturer.... Please look over the pictures carefully. Ask all the questions you have.
..The entire listing above is total BALONEY. The part describing the guitar is accurate. I purchased this guitar from a guy named Tony from New Jersey.
..I sell guitars as described. Ask questions please. Need more pictures just let me know. This is basically an 'AS IS' sale so please look everything over in the pictures and please ask all the questions that you have. Try and get a chuckle out of this listing. The guitar business gets so serious some times.
