These are not shabby hand cut washers, they are made using high precision production press tooling from PTFE/Teflon.

Used without any grease - Teflon/PTFE has a much lower coefficient of friction than carbon. Nothing sticks to it, thats why its used on frying pans...

Heat resistant up to 250+ Deg Celcius - no need for more unless you're fighting 50MPH marlin with a drag set at 30lb.

No initial 'Stiction' meaning the drag starts to work without any jerking or 'lumpiness', very smooth.

Very cheap.
