Exceptionally stylish mid-century “L” shaped bar with hanging cabinet and the original three stools. Made of teak with dramatically figured walnut, rosewood and satin finish metal elements. There is a safari vibe provided by carved animal accents: each section of the bar has a big cat chasing an antelope, and the hanging cabinet has a vertical detail featuring a giraffe. The bar stools have been upholstered in cowhide printed with a cheetah pattern.
The two sections of the bar are joined at the corner with shelves that have clipped corners - the bar can have the short section placed on either side, depending on the room’s configuration. The back of the bar has two cabinets that reveal open storage, the center section is open storage.
The three stools have bases of metal and solid rosewood. The seats have firm padding - they are stationary and do not swivel.
In overall remarkable condition. The wood surfaces are clean and show little to no wear or marks - the corner shelves have a few light scratches, but minor. The door rests and wood around them are immaculate - this set up was either little used or very well cared for. The metal on the stools shows minor surface pitting, otherwise they are structurally solid and fully intact. The corner shelves appear to have had a single vertical board that joined them together, but it is missing. The glass is very clean - a few minor scratches at the most.
When assembled, the overall width is 72.5”.
The hanging cabinet is 46.5” wide, 10” deep and 25” high overall. The interior height is 14”. The lower open rosewood shelf is 8” deep, and the height from it to the cabinet’s underside is 7”.
