This postcard features has a simple aphorism printed on its front: "A Lazy boy and a warm bed are hard to part".

The postcard was postmarked in October of 1912 in Silver Creek, the village in the town of Hamlet, New York, and then sent to the hamlet of Irving-- all within Chautauqua County, New York.
