Amazing, huge, vintage canvas backpack, worn by iron miners in the U P of Michigan to carry explosives into the Hanna mines
It's huge - with a length of over 36" if the flap is open - see photo
Closed size is about 24" x 26"
One large interior pocket, (see the stitching on the outside)
Three leather straps secure it closed. They are not brittle but not "supple" either. They should be handled carefully and conditioned before using. We won't be responsible for breakage.
The heavy-duty shoulder straps are 2" wide
There are two buckles on the back without straps, (possibly an alternative way to roll the pack and secure it when empty ???)
