Limit first began as a small company called Hirst Brothers in 1884, founded by Alfred Hirst. The brand initially produced timepieces, jewellery and optical goods. As the company grew, they acquired more premises across the United Kingdom. The Limit trademark was introduced in 1912. The brand prides itself on elegance, quality and tradition, using classic British designs in combination with contemporary style.

We use fast and reliable delivery services for all our customers. These deliveries include tracking information and are insured.
*INTERNATIONAL SHOPPERS: For orders to Ireland up to €150 (excluding VAT), Irish VAT and customs fees are included in the price and there is no additional charges upon delivery. For orders over €150 (excluding VAT) to Ireland, you will see the VAT removed during checkout however VAT, duties and charges will still apply upon delivery as determined by the courier. This also applies to deliveries to other countries within the EU. We are based in the United Kingdom, there may be duties/charges and taxes to pay for deliveries outside the European Union customs union. **INTERNATIONAL POST: Most orders are sent using DHL Express delivery which normally takes less than 1 week to arrive. If this service is not available in your country (for example, deliveries to Russia), we will send with the postal service. Deliveries with postal service may take several weeks and can sometimes take months to arrive in some countries.

Returns Policy
We offer a quick and easy 30 day returns policy (extended until mid January for Christmas orders). Simply send the item back to us in a brand new and un-worn condition for a full refund or exchange.
