Antique Japanese Imari Hand Painted Scalloped Edge Plate produced in the Meiji period.

Plate is hand-painted in the typical Imari style featuring the flower basket decoration in red and blue colours. Plate is scalloped around rim, unmarked and has blue symbol decoration to the underside.

Plate in good condition, crazing to body and underside, small chips to rim & no cracks to piece, the plate also has a manufacturing imperfection which can be seen in photos, very good for age.
