Some Background

These Indonesian batiks are hand made fabrics - all designed/created by owner and internationally known designer, Princess Mirah of Bali. The princess grew up in the palace of Karangasem, built by her grandfather, Anak Agung Anglurah Ketut Karangasem, the last Raja.

He was the last reigning ruler in Bali. He was considered the “Raja di Raja,” or king of kings, as he had jurisdiction over eight regions in Bali even after the Dutch had annexed Indonesia.

What you receive

Up for purchase are (20) 10" squares: a stunning variety - with no duplicates - ready for your next table runner, pillow cases, table cloth or quilting project! If you were simply to sew all 20 squares together (4 across by 5 down) you would immediately have a 40" X 50" sized lap quilt (minus the seams) and that's without any sashing or borders. All squares have been ironed and rotary cut.

Our houses have always been animal/smoke free!
