RECOMMENDED USE:

Option A: Using a PTT with an Aker Voice amp (see wiring diagram).

Option B: Using a PTT with an Aker Voice amp and Memorex Wireless Headset Mic

Option C: Using a PTT with a MP3 player for sound effects (The T21 option).

Option A: Using a PTT with an Aker Voice amp (see wiring diagram).

1. Plug one of the male ends of the PTT cable into the mic port on the Aker amp.

2. Plug the other male end of the PTT cable into the female to female 3.5mm adapter (provided with PTT cable)

3. Plug the male 3.5mm Aker microphone end into the open end of the female to female adapter.

4. Turn on the Aker voice amp at the volume wheel. Push and hold the micro push button to talk.

Option B: Using a PTT with an Aker Voice amp and Memorex Wireless Headset Mic (See wiring diagram)

1. Plug one of the male ends of the PTT cable into the mic port on the Aker amp.

2. Plug the other male end of the PTT cable into the Memorex Wireless receiver.

3. Plug the male 3.5mm Aker microphone end into the input port on the Memorex Wireless transmitter

4. Turn on the Aker voice amp at the volume wheel. Turn on the Memorex Wireless transmitter and receiver. Push and hold the micro push button to talk.

Option C: Using a PTT with a MP3 player for sound effects (The T21 option).

For example, if you want really loud blaster sounds, you can put the mp3 player on a continuous loop of blaster sounds and then use the PTT push button to control the sound. Another option would be for prerecorded voices like a Rex or Cody. You can put the MP3 player on shuffle. Then use the PTT push button to control the sound. Please note there WILL be some ghost sounds heard through the amp when using a mp3 player. I have not figured out how to solve the ghost sounds and it was not an issue on my T21 because I could not hear it through the gun. There are no ghost sounds when used with a microphone.

1. Plug one of the male ends of the PTT cable into the mp3 sound port on the Aker amp.

2. Plug the other male end of the PTT cable into a MP3 player

3. Turn the MP3 player on shuffle, random, or loop depending on what you want.

4. Turn on the Aker voice amp at the volume wheel. Push and hold the micro push button activate the sound.
