For sale is a very rare gold Ducat minted in Hermannstadt ( Romanian: Sibiu, Hungarian: Nagyszeben) during the rule of Karl VI (as Emperor of the Holy Roman Empire).

This coin has shiny, mark free surfaces but it is a bit wavy due to the striking process used at that time. It has been graded AU58 by NGC.

It is a one year type and is listed in Krause under Transylvania as KM-551. It is somewhat undervalued at $3200 in XF (no higher grade listed). This coin is very close to uncirculated condition.
