This adapter ring allows any M42 screw thread mount lenses (Pentax, Praktica, Mamiya, Carl Zeiss, ……...) to be used on Sony Alpha E (NEX)  lens mount cameras. 

Simply screw your M42 lens to the adapter and then attach it to your camera as normal.

It is possible to use Macro rings and other accessories. 

Infinity focus.

There is no electronic element in the adapter, aperture, and focusing must be manually controlled.

Settings, you have to set the mode photo without a lens.

This M42-NEX adapter is great for Macro work as the adapter acts as a short extension tube.

For heavy medium format lenses, we suggest using a telephoto bracket and a tripod to balance its weight when the shoot.
