For your consideration is a Hand Knit Dale of Norway 100% Wool Sweater in Unisex Size L in the Haukeli pattern in very good condition. The primary colors are: Red and Gray. This sweater is from a long discontinued, special line of Hand Knit sweaters offered by Dale of Norway.

I did not purchase this sweater new, so I don't know much about its background. I have never worn it, and it looks to have been well cared for, but gently worn by the previous owner. This is a small amount of pilling on the inside of the sleeves where they would have rubbed against the body of the sweater.f worn, the previous owner took great care with the sweater.

Dale had to discontinue their line of hand knit sweaters as they were no longer able to find sufficient knitters in Norway with whom to outsource the work. The hand knit sweaters are truly works of art, and being hand knit, each is distinct in its own way. Here is the opportunity to own a piece of Norwegian history and beautiful craftsmanship.

My experience has been that this particular pattern was often not knit to the correct sizing, so please look at the photos provided for the actual measurements, rather than simply going by the tag size. In particular, I have felt that the sleeve length is disproportionately short for the reset of the sweater.
