These are good quality beads from China at a fraction of the cost of Japanese beads. Good craft quality faux pearl style beads. These are whiter than the previous Chinese oat beads we were selling as you can see in the photo. We are now selling those as "Cream Oats" (actually kind of a light cream). Faux pearls when worn directly on the skin may or may not react to the acid in your skin, which can effect their finish.
