Here is a very film noir rare gem from Republic 1944  "Strangers in the Night" This one stars William Terry, Virginia Grey and Helen Thimig. This is a hard one to find. A lost treasure. A recommended title for all movie buffs. Directed by Anthony Mann.

SYNOPSIS: A lonely, mentally unbalanced woman invents a fictitious daughter and has the "daughter" write to a Marine stationed in the South Pacific. When the soldier returns back to the States, he goes to look up his pen pal, and is told by the "mother" that the daughter has moved away. An acquaintance of the women tells the soldier the truth, and in a rage the "mother" kills her. In order to coverup that crime, she realizes she must kill the soldier, too.

This comes  from a 16mm film transfer. Comes in hard shell case with artwork and title printed on disc as well. We do not offer refunds but will replace any defective disc. This is a collectors DVD-R, Not a commercial release. This film is in Public Domain.
