Introduction:

The cross-sectional area of the Type-O transformer core is circular, similar to R-Core, but it has no edges and corners, and the magnetic field can be distributed more evenly and the magnetic leakage is low. The overall appearance of the transformer core is in the shape of a circular ring, similar to the shape of a toroidal transformer. Therefore, the Type-O transformer actually has the dual advantages of R-Core and ring transformer. Type- transformer is a high efficiency and low magnetic flux leakage transformer. At the same time, because its volume is smaller and the length occupied by the coil winding is less, the DC positive reactance is also low.
