This is a handmade brass box. Dot picked mark "India" on the bottom.

The number "38" is in engraved in two places above and below the hinge on the back of the box.

Hinge is in great shape. Opens and closes well. Top seals and lines up well.

There is some oxidation and imperfections.Piece was recently polished and restored to its original beautiful polished brass.

The piece measures 4 1/2" in length
