1954 Czechoslovakia 1st First May Day Military Spring Parade Festival Pin Badge
1932 Czechoslovakia 1st First May Day Military Spring Parade Festival Pin Badge

Product Description : 1932 Czechoslovakia 1st First May Day Military Spring Parade Festival Pin Badge

  • This is a rare red plastic pin badge from the 1932 May Day celebrations in former Czechoslovakia. One I haven't come across before.

The badge has a stick pin style fastener. The badge face is 3cm high.

Featuring a man breaking the chains from his manacled hands. The 1930s saw the rapid rise of fascism, with Mussolini declaring in 1932 that facism was the 'creed of the century' positioning Italy in direct opposition to the ideals held by countries persuing Marxism and Democracy. It was a strong statement of aggression that would soon lead to WW2.
