Typically in the form of small white glazed porcelain models, made from 1858 to 1939 crested ware items carry the coat of arms of the place where they were sold. Carlton, Shelley and Arcadian, made souvenir crested ware but Goss is considered the most collectable.

This sweet little crested ware item has been created in the design of a cup and bears the coat of arms for Lewisham. It measures approx. 2.25" in height, 2.75" in width (including the handle) and weighs 50g.

There is a makers mark for W.H. Goss on the base and a description that reads 'Model of Ancient Cup Found at Brixworth Northamptonshire Rd No 413199'

It is in good condition with no cracks, crazing or signs of repair. There is wear to the gilt detail in places and a tiny chip to the inside of the rim opposite the handle but this doesn't detract from the overall charm of the piece (please see all photos)
