This little book has a cute doll named Sayoko from Japan printed in full color on the inside of the back cover on coated card stock.  There is also a stand for the doll.  The book is filled with 8 outfits for her to wear.  These are cut-out costumes with tabs.  Included are a modern-day kimono, a school dress, an outfit for Hanagasa Festival, a winter outfit, a party dress, a denim playtime outfit, a kimono for a school play, and a martial arts costume.  Each costume is complete with a hairstyle, shoes, and accessories.

This is a brand new softcover book which measures 4 1/16 x 5 1/4 inches.  It was published by Dover Books in 1997.  The artist is Tom Tierney.  The book was manufactured in the U.S.
