ONE-OF-A-KIND 100+ year-old Antique Custom Unmarked 3 ½˝ x 4 ½˝ Plate/Sheet Film Box Camera, completely refinished with a new Fumed Oak veneer covering. Originally taking 3 ½˝ x 4 ½˝ exposures on sheet film /plates (with 1 sheet film/plate holder included), viewfinders are hazy (with an odd lower viewfinder arrangement on the lower left), lens is clear, haze and fungus free with no balsam separation, shutter is operational. To operate the shutter, cock the shutter by turning the knob on the front, then fire the shutter with either the T or I release buttons. The only markings are the vendor tag (John Wanamaker, Phila.) with “Walton” above it, not cross-matched to any known camera. Customized with a Fumed Oak veneer covering and polished hardware, this camera is a one-of-a-kind creation, perfect for display in any camera collection or gift for the avid camera collector!
