This Large serving spoon rest was in a box that my neighbor gave me. He got it from his mother and told me they used to use this spoon as a serving spoon for rice and other foods, when he was a kid. But the only other similar spoon I was able to find is listed as a sp[oon rest. I suppose this could double as a normal spoon rest.
