This Rare and Limited Edition Robotix Building Kit was a Special Limited Promotional gift available Only with a $15 Dollar Robotix purchase released in connection with HBO's launch of "From The Earth To The Moon" back in 1998. The promotion was specifically in effect March 15th through May 1st, 1998!!!! The packaging reads: "Build a Lander and Create your favorite Apollo Mission with Robotix Lunar Lander. Based on America's greatest adventure now televisions greatest Miniseries. Learning Curve Robotix Construction System Cat# 98809. 1998."

"From the Earth to the Moon is a 12-part 1998 HBO television miniseries co-produced by Ron Howard, Brian Grazer, Tom Hanks, and Michael Bostick telling the story of the Apollo program during the 1960s and early 1970s in docudrama format."  

This building kit is vintage and Complete and Mint Sealed in its Original Packaging (see numerous listing photos for greater detail). Also included are the  building kit instructions. Note that one is pictured as Built for illustrative purposes only. The completed model measures approx. 7" by 7" by 6" and is fully modifiable and like all Robotix items is fully compatible and fits all Robotix Motorized Modular Building Systems.
