The best 3D printing Heated bed surface ever! Tested!(UK seller)
This listing is for a 235mm square Garolite/G10 board. No More scotch tapes, glues and solvent mess or permanent bonding to the base and injuries.
Why Garolite?
- When the heated bed with G10 surface cools down, the print will tend to automatically seperate.
- Very quick heating and cooling. Glass plates take a lot of time to heat because of low thermal conductivity and high thermal mass
- Ultralight! Probably 7 times lighter than glass surfaces of similar size. Lower mass = faster prints when the feed rate is higher. Lower resonance and ringing effects.
- Almost no force should be required to remove it if the right temperature is used.

I have tested temperatures for the following materials on this surface:
- ABS : 100 to 110
- PLA : 59 to 60
- PTEG : 70 to 75 (Do not exceed!)
Product engineering data:
Product Size: 235x235x1mm
Regular thickness: 1mm
Epoxy board characteristics: 3240 is the national standard number, corresponding to EPGC201 type in IEC893-3-2.
The 3240 epoxy laminate has a smooth surface, no air bubbles, no pits and wrinkles, but allows for other defects that do not affect the use, such as: scratches, indentations, stains and small spots.
Executive standard: GB/T1303.1-1998.
Temperature rating: Class B
Color: Light Green
Characteristics: The cured epoxy resin system has excellent mechanical properties, high strength at medium temperature, and good electrical stability under high humidity.
Electrical: The cured epoxy resin system is an excellent insulating material with high dielectric properties, surface leakage resistance and arc resistance.
Uses: Suitable for mechanical, electrical, electronic, electrical and in this case as a 3D printing bed surface. Also used for the processing of insulating parts, processing into various types of insulating parts and equipment insulation structural parts.
Note:
- Print at the right bed temperature for the material. Or else, the material has a risk of either bonding if it is too high or non-adhesion if it is very less.
- I am advertising this product after extensive printing on this surface. Please look at the image samples of the prints how they turn out when the temperature is right and how bonding can happen when the temperature is too high.
- You can cut the board to smaller size to suit your printer bed size. Make sure the FR4 Dust is not inhaled.
- Some sample pictures can have a black FR4 but the product advertised is green. The colour should not make a difference in the quality or performance.
- If you have any questions, reach out to me and I can try to help.
