This lovely Powder Blue and White Stripe Huipil with geometric Figures / People done in various other bright colors is from the Mixtec village of San Juan Colorado.  This Dress is entirely Hand Woven on a Back Strap Loom.  In the past few years British Fashion Designer, Pippa Holt, has been selling Huipils from this village for up to $795.00 US dollars... Oy Vey!!!  This Kaftan is made in the same village and by the same ladies who make her huipils.   The only difference is that Pippa Holt Huipiles have pockets on the sides.... this one does not have pockets....

This cotton huipil will fit a Medium to Large size Woman!!!  

It measures 23 1/2 inches wide (from side to side –total 47 inches around) and 48  inches long.
