Hand Gesture Control makes the GHDVR98W one of the safest dash cams to use in the market. Unlike other dash cams that require you to press a button to save a video which is often hard to find, the GHDVR98W allows you to keep your eyes on the road while taking a photo and securely saving a video file. Simply wave your hand under the dash cam to take a photo and save 10 seconds of footage, 5 seconds before & after the hand gesture is detected. Record accurate speed, location, time and date. The GPS Tracking Technology collects all this information and stores it on the dash cam memory card for review on video download and playback. The GPS information displays on a map which can be viewed on the PC Player Software or via the Free Gator Smartphone App. The built-in Super Capacitor is a safer and more reliable power storage solution compared to lithium battery alternatives found in other dash cams. The super capacitor is more resistant to heat, has a longer lifecycle and will not explode or leak acid in the unlikely event it fails. It provides enough power storage to securely save the last recorded file when power is disconnected to ensure your valuable footage can be retrieved should an incident occur. The GHDVR98W brings together a front and rear dash cam, along with a GPS antenna, high spec 32GB micro SD card, secure adhesive dash cam mount and dual USB charger adaptor. The rear camera connects to the front camera with the included 5.2m video cable to provide full coverage at the front and rear of the vehicle. Parking mode can also be enabled when installed with the optional GHWCUSB2 Hard Wire Kit, allowing the dash cam to record at 1 frame per second after the vehicle has been stationary for three minutes. When choosing to return a purchase, please make sure the product is:
* Unused
* In the original packaging with minimal damage
* In a re-sellable condition
* Returned with the original receipt
* Within 14 days of receipt of product. e.g. Collection from a store or the day the Delivery arrives at your location
What happens when I return my goods?
The goods will be initially assessed by the staff at the store to make sure all parts are being returned and the item works. In some cases, the goods may need to be sent off to the supplier or manufacturer for assistance. These products include but are not limited to electrical goods, sound and audio products and car parts.
Some suppliers and manufacturers require us to send the products to them prior to a refund or credit being issued. Your local Autobarn store will advise you if the product needs to be sent off. They can also provide you with an approximate timeframe, but this may vary from product to product.
If the supplier determines that the goods are not faulty, there may be additional charges applied for freight which must be paid prior to the collection of the products.
Australian Consumer Law:
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Consumer guarantees do not apply if you:
* got what you asked for but simply changed your mind, found it cheaper somewhere else, decided you did not like the purchase or had no use for it misused a product in any way that caused the problem
* knew of or were made aware of the faults before you bought the product
* asked for a service to be done in a certain way against the advice of the business or were unclear about what you wanted
