This unit was surplus from a community college.  It powers on and I get the screens shown in the pictures but if I push the CAL button a few times " Err 6 " appears on the screen.  According to the manual this is because " Detector signal with the lamp off exceeds the preset threshold. Possible cause is that the sample chamber lid is not closed. "  The lid was closed and so I am not sure what is causing this error.  Also, I do not see anything light up inside.  I don't know if this is because I don't have a cuvette to put into the unit or if the lamp needs replacement.   I opened it up to see if something might be loose or any other obvious causes but I didn't see anything.  The last 2 pictures show the inside of the unit.   I haven't been able to test it beyond this and I am offering it AS-IS for parts or repair.
