Classic 1080 style long reach REAR brake caliper This is the brake you need for many of those cruiser frames that originally had a coaster brake rear wheel. The forks tended to a little longer to leave a larger gap for a fender, therefore the reach needed to switch to a hand brake tends to be much longer than a regular BMX brake. For the rear wheel, the "brake bridge" usually was meant to hold a fender and/or reflector and was farther from the tire/rim than on a BMX or other bike type. These design characteristics meant that if you want to change to hand brakes, you're going to need a very long brake. The only difference between front and rear is the front has a longer pivot bolt to make it through the fork steer tube which is much thicker tubing than the rear brake bridge. Rear pivot bolt is 32mm and front is 45mm. * Reach ranges from about 85mm to 108mm * Cold forged aluminum alloy * BLACK ANODIZED finish * Caliper ONLY - cables and lever sold separately
