For sale is a highly collectible Blue Delft house, once a decanter filled with spirits.  It is from the second of just three distilleries in the 70 years KLM Airlines has produced these hand-painted in-flight souvenirs.  This one is empty, marked #23 on the bottom.  KLM crown logo on back has open circles. Produced in Holland estimated prior to the 1980s, the Henkes distillery mark is also on underside. PLEASE SEE LAST PHOTO THAT SHOWS IT UPSIDE DOWN AND COMPLETELY EMPTY. The wax seal is broken and the cork is not present. Since 1952, KLM has offered these miniature Delft Blue pottery houses, each portraying a historically or architecturally significant Dutch building, to its world business/first-class passengers.

#23 depicts Pijlsteeg31, Amsterdam (a house issued twice, see KLM #11)

Very good vintage condition — some minor crazing; no chips or cracks. Normal handling marks from age, display and storage including wax and cork remnants.
