This game came from a storage unit in Excelsior, MN. If the area and time frame rings familiar to you, these were the wargamers associated with Dave Arneson and his Blackmoor campaign as he was collaborating with Gary Gygax and the wargamers in Lake Geneva, WI to co-create Dungeons and Dragons. (If you've watched the "Secrets of Blackmoor" documentary on Amazon Prime, then you are familiar with this gaming community and history.)
A guy bought the storage unit hoping for tools he could flip for profit and was angry he found what he called "weird stuff." But he reached out to me as a D&D collector and I was thrilled to find vintage war games associated with so much history. I won't share the name of Arneson's compatriot in order to respect his privacy, but this and the other 15 games I have posted have a wonderful history.
You aren't buying this game because it has never been played or is "unpunched," those old school wargamers played the heck out of this game. It has a story. The wear is love.
