The Magician's Nephew, C.S. Lewis, 1st Edition/9th Printing, Macmillan, 1966, HC/DJ.  Beautifully illustrated by Pauline Baynes.  This book has a gift inscription and a name blacked out along with some price notations to the ffep, otherwise free from interior markings.  The binding is square and tight, there is light wear to the boards and page ends, light edge wear, gentle bumping to spine ends and corners.  The DJ is price-clipped and has shelf wear and rubbing, some creasing, chipping to the edges and corners along with a piece missing from the head of the spine, and several edge tears.  There is some staining to the real panel (pictured above).  Please examine all of the pictures closely as they are considered part of the description.  The DJ will be wrapped in new mylar.  A rare and collectible hardcover from the classic Narnia series.
