Phasor diagram voltage and current

This simulator allows the student to setup a single phase LCR (Inductor, Capacitor, Resistor) a.c. circuit. Students can verify their theoretical knowledge and skills by carrying out the accompanying practical exercises.

Features

The single phase supply voltage and frequency can be specified. Supply display will show the waveform of both voltage and current drawn from the power supply. Circuit type can be specified by selecting the tab keys which include various combinations of series and parallel circuits of LCR components. Furthermore, the LCR controls will then allow the user to adjust the values (resistor or reactance) of each component. Also, you can view the relationship between voltage and current phasors on vector diagram. Once you have mastered the concepts of single phase series and parallel circuits, you can view the vectors on a phasor chart.
