Obverse:  Bishop with crozier, performing benediction

Reverse:  Bust of St. Peter with large key.

The reverse is obliterated due to the striking process, the "vierschlag method".

The reverse is struck first, and then the coin is turned over and the obverse is struck.  In the process of striking the obverse, the reverse is usually badly damaged (specimens with strong reverses do not exist).

Do not pay until it is time to ship:   If you think you might buy additional items within the next week, you should pay when you are done with all of your purchases.   In order to maintain a preferred commission schedule, eBay expects me to ship items within one day of receiving payment. When I receive payment I ship as soon as possible.

Ebay may not automatically apply combined postage.  I will send invoices when needed.  If I don't, just ask for an invoice with combined postage.  If you pay for your items without the combined postage, I can just refund the extra.   

INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS, PLEASE NOTE:  Direct international shipping is calculated by eBay at actual cost. In general, the price for an international package is around $16.  It may cost a lot less for people in other countries to send the same package to me, but that is my cost from where I am.  There may also be a problem with with eBay combining postage when buying multiple coins.   Postage to most international locations should be the same for one coin or multiple coins.  It doesn't matter how many coins in the shipment, the postage should be pretty much the same as for one coin.  If it is significantly higher, then ask for an invoice with combined postage and I will provide one.
