Velvet aka Peacock Obsidian end cut Slab for Cabbing, Lapidary, Chakra, Reiki, Healing stone from Mexico.  Beautiful feathery rainbow colors that move on black material.  This material is very hard to photograph.  The colors in this material look like a combination of oil on water and the Aurora Borealis.  The colors are in layers on the material.  This is great cabbing material - it is hard and provides a high gloss shine.  Obsidian is a volcanic glass.  Weight: 156g Dimensions: 3 1/2" x 3 1/2" x 1/4 to 3/8" thick.  Shown wet and dry.
