Description:


Bound in the publisher's green cloth with gilt lettering and ornament to spine and upper board. Top edge gilt, fore and lower edges uncut. Externally sound, boards a little rubbed with one or two blemishes, pale speckling, particularly to lower board, some generally wear to extremities. Spine sunned with crumpling at ends. Small ownership inscription to ffep, dated December 1910. Text-block cracking a little in places but remains generally sound overall. Pages and guard-sheets lightly age-toned with foxing in places throughout, dust-soiling along some edges, else generally clean and tidy. Plates with slight toning else largely clean and bright, just occasional minor blemishes and a little light foxing to margins.
