‘A continuation of the exposition of the Epistle of Paul the Apostle to the Hebrevvs· Viz. On the sixth, seventh, eighth, ninth, and tenth chapters. Wherein together with the explication of the text and context. The priesthood of Christ as typed by those of Melchisedek an Aaron, with an account of their distinct offices, ... as typed by all the sacrifices of the law, ... The nature and differences of the two covenants, the old and the new, with the preference of the latter above the former, the reasons and neccessity of the taking away and abolishing of the old legal worship annexed unto the Covenant of Sinai; & the means whereby it was removed ... are declared, explained and confirmed. As also; the pleas of the Jews for the continuance and perpetuity of their legal worship; with the doctrine of the principal writers of the Socinians about these things, are examined and disproved. Lacks two leaves only in one section however oddly there is a small section of leaves duplicated later in the book. It would appear these errors have been with the book from the time of printing.

A good, clean and sound copy. Minor light marks, blemishes or reading wear commensurate with age else a nice, solid and clean copy in the main.

Presented in an attractive restored period binding.
